HolyName - Rock Against Traffic

Violent Worship as it is being called, is a relatively new concept, and, "preachcore" band HolyName is leading the way. Fusing the beautiful with the ugly is a fitting way to describe their sound, although it barely scratches the surface. Founded by former Sleeping Giant frontman Tommy Green, and adorned with a group of seasoned vocal vets from the likes of Demon Hunter, xDeathstarsx, Impending Doom, and more. The collective harmonies provided by the Rev Gang Choir and even an appearance by Brian "Head" Welch of Korn during their live album recording in Chicago have put these guys on the map in a very big, albeit humble way. Recently the band launched the first-ever Rock Against Traffic benefit show in Pomona CA and I had the pleasure of sitting down with Tommy to discuss this very special event, some of the controversy surrounding the band, and what's in store for their future.
