By far one of the most prolific Metal bands to be birthed from the German scene and perhaps the world is Blind Guardian, the band whose afinity with the works of J.R.R. Tolkiena and the fantasy, fairytale facination in general has managed to keep their career alive for three decades.

 

Speaking with founding member and vocalist Hansi Kürsch about the bands latest release, Beyond The Red Mirror, their ability to not let their roots define them as artists, terrorism and the struggles of being such a hard working band, I was truly blessed to have a informative sit down with him when the guys played The City National Grove of Anaheim in Anaheim CA during their most recent U.S. tour.
